The courses are designed to save your progress as you move through the lessons. You can track progress by viewing the menu in the top left. All the check marks indicate the pages you have already visited. At any time, you can exit the course without losing this progress.
Save Progress Before Exiting Your Training
IMPORTANT - If you need to leave the course and come back later use Exit Training or Exit Course.
DO NOT close the tab or browser, OR leave the course player open for multiple hours. This can result in a loss of progress.
Resume Where You Left Off
If you have already started a training module, when reopening a course or exam, you are given the option to Resume or Restart (at the bottom of the course player prior to clicking play).
- Selecting Resume will keep all your progress in the training, putting you back on the last screen you viewed. If you've completed the training, this is the last screen.
- Selecting Restart will clear all your progress and put you back at the beginning of the course or exam. If you had completed your course and choose Restart, this will also disable access to future courses until you complete this course again.
- Changing Language will also DELETE ALL saved data for the course so far and it cannot be recovered. Please make sure you have selected the right language before moving through training
Sometimes, users will begin the exam and close out to go back and reference the course, by clicking the link to Retake Training. We recommend clicking Yes, to keep your stored progress for the training. Then you can scroll back through or use the menu in the top right to view the content.
Multiple Windows Open
It's possible that you've clicked to open the course multiple times. Maybe you started on your desktop and then resumed on your phone. Or maybe you started on your desktop and didn't close the course when you paused. This opens the course in multiple browser windows or tabs.
Be sure you only have one browser open while engaging with the course.
Still Not Saving?
Sometimes, there are some other issues that may be factoring in.
- Weak Internet Connection It's possible that your internet connection may be weak and causing your device to disconnect, therefore not saving your progress as you view the slides.
- Too Many Interactions In some rare cases, it's possible that you've engaged with a course too much (ironic, we know). This occurs occasionally if you retake a course or exam over and over.
In either of these scenarios, simply reach out and our technical support can assist further.
