Note for returning admins: As of March 12th, 2026, certificate credit pricing changed to $1.00 per credit. All existing certificate credit balances have been multiplied by 9.
I.e, if your account had 100 cert credits it will now show a balance of 900 cert credits. We made this change to allow for more flexible pricing as the course library expands.
Annual Subscriptions
We recommend annual subscriptions for any organizations that have an ongoing training need. If your team completes their training each year, or you have a steady flow of new users that need to train each year, an annual subscription is the best fit for you.
Certificates Based Usage
With your subscription, you'll be issued certificate credits to be used in your organization. You'll only use up certificate credits if your user completed their training and earned a certificate.
Simply pick the amount of credits you need or use the credit calculator (via accounts and billing or your organization dashboard when logged in) to get an estimate on how many you should purchase based on your training needs.
Don't worry if you don't use all your certificates. Your certificates will carry over from year to year. And if you need more in your plan year, you can simply add more via accounts and billing.
Credit Calculation Example:
An organization will be assigning 50 Volunteers, Volunteers CA training.
This training is 9 credits per certificate, multiplying to 450 credits in total that they would need.
If they hired 10 more later through the year, they can simply go to their Accounts and Billing menu, and use Pay-As-You-Go to purchase the remaining 10.
Any discounts applied to your subscription will also be applied to the Pay-As-You-Go purchase.

Pay-As-You-Go
We recommend Pay As You Go for any organization just getting started and unsure of their training needs per year.
Certificates Based Usage
With Pay As You Go, you can purchase as many or as few certificate credits as you need. You'll only use up a certificate credit if your user completed their training and earned a certificate. Simply start with the number of certificates you need and add more as you go.
At any time you can choose to subscribe at your current Pay-As-You-Go purchase amount.
Annual Subscription + Pay-As-You-Go Hybrid
You can even supplement your annual plan with Pay As You Go. Maybe your organization only needs 75 certificates per year. Select the plan that best fits (50 Certificate Credit Plan) and the remaining Pay As You Go credits when needed. This is a great option so that you don't have to purchase a plan bigger than your needs.
FAQ
If a user shares their completed certificate with my organization, does it use my credit?
There's no credit used - you just saved money!
Can I have the extra features with Pay As You Go?
Unfortunately, those extra features are only available to our subscribers.
