There's a retired date in my training history. What does this mean?
Existing courses expired on June 26, 2023.
Courses incomplete past this date have had progressed removed.
See more information in this article here.
This does NOT impact a certificate issued. Both its validity and its availability will remain.
Updated Content
At Mandated Reporter Training we work hard to keep our courses up to date. Along with changes in legislation, guidance from our Child Abuse Prevention partners, and other content updates, we also update the courses with improved user experience and new functionality as it's made available in the course player.
As we make these changes, we release newer versions of the course. When adding a new session of the course, the platform will always deliver the newest version available.
Retiring a Course
Some learners may start a course and not finish it right away. We don't like to disrupt learners that may be in progress, so we leave access to older versions.
However, after enough time and as content updates occur, we need to "retire" an older course version because the content is outdated. We schedule a course version to retire with a scheduled date in the future, so that existing learners have a chance to finish it before it will no longer be available.
Once the Retire Date arrives, that version of the course can no longer be completed. You'll need to add the latest version of the course and start again. Unfortunately, since the content contains updated material, we cannot automatically pass portions you may have completed or been in progress with.
Certificates from Retired Courses
Don't worry! If you were issued a certificate from a course version that is now retired, you'll still be able to access your certificate. It is valid from the issue date through the expiration date (if applicable) and will always remain available in your account.
You can download your certificate from the My History or My Certificates pages.
