Account registration and access to all the training in the Mandated Reporter Training course catalog are always free of charge. This means anyone can register to the platform and train for free!
Individual Certificates
Many of our courses have a fee prior to the exam, associated with producing, storing and the interoperability of the training certificate. This update has been in effect since 2023 and rolled out to most of the audience courses.
Individuals can access all the courses in a training at no cost. Once you have completed the courses in your training, you will have the option to purchase a certificate of completion as confirmation of your training completion.
| TIP: If you are an individual training for your organization, reach out to your administrator and see if there's an account to which they can invite you. |
Organization Certificates
Several organizations that require their employees to train are now setting up an organization account so that they can cover the costs for their employees, as well as take advantage of the administrative features.
If you represent an organization and need to train a group of people, you should create an Organization Account. If you are interested (and already have an account), just navigate over to your profile and click Create Organization. You'll get started with a free trial and can immediately begin inviting learners and assigning training.

Course Delivery and Platform
To keep up with the growing demand for training Mandated Reporters, there are fees prior to the exam associated with producing, storing and the interoperability of the training certificate. These fees enable Simple to maintain, enhance and support the platform and its users.
This is a necessary step in continuing to offer a training solution to an expanding audience.

FAQ
Why did it used to be free? Why is it free for my coworker?
This can be a couple things!
Firstly, your coworker/colleague could already be connect with your organization who are covering costs for their employees. If you believe you or your training is in the wrong place, please reach out to our help desk who can assist you.
Otherwise, it all depends on when the course was added to the account.
Our fees have been rolling out across different courses since September 2023 in batches across audiences over the past year and a half, so depending on when they added it there could or could not be a fee.
For example if a user had a training session on their account in February and the fee was implemented in March, even if that user completed it in June, they would see no fee. However, those who added the course from March on would see a fee.
